Just came back from ‘The Web’ after helping my buddy on his presentation slides. We spent 2 hours to attempt on that but he still got a little bit more to do which mostly can finish by tomorrow. We went to eat some snack at Mcd and maybe this will be my dinner as I don’t fell like eating afterwards as I’m so full now.
Today woke up pretty early as I have to practice myself for the final time for the presentation before I went to college. When I entered the class, everyone was gazing admiringly at me with different kind of eyes. “wah, Hong Ting……today so what ah……looks different……so……” Haha, maybe this was my first time to wear formal in my entire life.
My group rehearsed for the first time during our two-hour break time. We discussed all the questions for the Q & A section and also discussion as well to avoid being asked by the teacher. The topics for today were ‘Feng Shui’, ‘Football’ and ‘Media Violence’ which presented by Man Yee, me and Wen Ming. The topics for tomorrow are ‘Dogs’, ‘Homosexuality’ and ‘Mass Media’ which will be presented by Annie, Kang Yun and Sarah.
Mr Tong was so funny as usual. He thought I’m going to a interview or something else. He says I’m excited no doubt I was just gone to toilet to wear my tie and he even helped me adjust my tie when I came back from toilet. Funny la this teacher. As the presentation was right after the Mr Tong’s period so ManYee and me practiced for the last time for the ‘click-click’ thing in the powerpoint.
Presentation started at 12pm noon which began with ManYee’s feng shui and followed by me and WenMing. Sarah kept laughing there when I was presenting. I wondered what she laughing at. She said I was very serious. Come on, this is what the teacher wants la. “All must be in formal” said teacher during ESL period. Maybe tomorrow I will show my serious face to Sarah when she’s presenting to make her more formal.(haha)
I wore a contented smile at the end of presentation. So you guys guess how was it? Think yourself la. Everyone was busy asking us how was the presentation when we finished our presentation. “how was it……” I just said like that la…ok lor.
So, best of luck to my three remaining group members. You all can do it!
It’s time to stop writing as I need to do homework now. See ya..
