Finally came back to SJ after two weeks holidays. Tomorrow is the first day of second semester of SAM programme. Yeah! I missed my friends very much and finally can see you all again. I woke up at 7am this morning as I have to catch the bus at 9.30am. So, I was very tired when I entered the bus and directly slept until the bus reached a resting place for lunch. I reached my hostel at 4pm and had a short nap to recuperate my stamina.
I watched Formula One British Grand Prix just now while having dinner. Defending world champion Fernando Alonso blew away his opposition on a windy day at Silverstone to take his fifth win of the season. It was his fifth win of the year and his eighth consecutive podium. The result means Alonso extends his drivers' championship lead over Schumacher by a further two points, with 74 to 51. Raikkonen is another 18 adrift on 33. In the constructors' standings, Renault break through the 100 barrier, heading Ferrari by 106 points to 75, with McLaren on 59.
Besides that, I also watched FIFA World Cup after finished watching Formula One. The Netherlands made a fine start to their World Cup just now with a goal from the inspired Arjen Robben giving them a 1-0 victory over Serbia & Montenegro. Robben struck the only goal of an absorbing contest in the 18th minute, finishing confidently after his speed carried him clear of the Serbia and Montenegro back line. The victory leaves Marco van Basten's Dutch team level on three points with Argentina at the top of Group C.
That's all for today, Best@lipton signing off.
