It's time for blogging since my last entry on Tuesday. I have been struggling over the past few days for the ESL research project and luckily I managed to finish up on time and handed up on Friday. I was totally relieved after passed up the project as it took 5 months of efforts to finish it. I have advanced my knowledge on football through this project as my research topic is about football. I enjoyed doing this project as I have chosen the topic that I like althought it's quite laborious when finding certain sources that needs to cover each subtopic excellently with clear reliable data but all went on smooth.
Well, watching Thomas Cup competition is a form of relaxing. I came back from college at 2pm and had a nap for 2 hours as I have been lack of sleep due to the research project. I woke up at 5pm and started watching Thomas Cup semi-final between Malaysia and Denmark. What a disappointed result! The nation's Thomas Cup hopes went up in smoke. Malaysia lost 3-2 to Denmark. What caused this happened? Lee Chong Wei, who looked unbeatable after his earlier performances, put up a jittery performance against Peter Gade-Christensen. While that is a fact, it doesn't ease yesterday's disappointment one bit. Not when Malaysia, somehow, lost all three singles. Despite lossing all three singles but our team's doubles players did a splendid performance over Denmark. Malaysia's top men doubles pair of Chan Chong Ming-Koo Kien Keat were given a second chance to prove themselves and this time, they passed the test with flying colours. Yesterday, they put up a strong performance to beat Denmark's world number one Jens Eriksen-Martin Lundgaard Hansen 21-17, 30-28, 21-6 in a 68-minute battle that was marred by poor umpiring. But their effort were all in vain as Malaysia went down 2-3 in the semi-final tie.
I slept at 3am this morning and woke up by an early message at 6.58am. Who the hell is that? I slept back after replying the message until don't know what time as I never figured it.
